Ms. Rose Marie Brenzie's Obituary
Rose Marie Brenzie, 87, of Hendersonville TN., formerly of Cranberry Twp. PA. passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 3, 2021, at a Hospice facility in Nashville, TN. She was born February 9, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of William John and Margaret Lynch.
A true sports enthusiast, Rose loved watching her beloved Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. She also had a passion for Penn State football and thoroughly enjoyed the sportsmanship and celebration between the players after a scoring play or big win. Rose was the perfect name for her; what do you think of when you see a rose, the flower? You are inspired to feel beauty, comfort, warmth and love. In old English, the meaning of rose is “famous type”. Rose may not have been famous by the world as a whole; however, to her family and friends she was famous for being a beacon of hope and a bedrock in the foundation of love.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Judith A. Kirsch; sons John E. Brenzie Jr., and Michael W. Brenzie; granddaughter, Hannah Katharine O’Brien (Stephen); grandson, John Patrick Brenzie; nephew, Charlie Hughes(Diane); and nieces, Barbara Wrobel (Dan) and Sherri Covin (Jerry).
A special “shout out” to all of her friends at Rolling Road in Cranberry Twp. PA; she loved all of you so dearly.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Brenzie Sr.; sister, Betty Hughes; brother, Billy Lynch; daughter-in-law, Valarie Brenzie; brother-in-law, Charles Hughes; and son-in-law, Tim Kirsch.
The family will be holding a private service.
