Ms. Ruby Hunter's Obituary
Ruby Mae Hunter, Age 96 passed away in Madison, TN on January 20, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Adali Steverson Hunter, Frances Lula Hunter; brother, G.W. (Nell) Hunter, Vaughn (Ruth) Hunter, Roy (Marjorie) Hunter; and nephew, Roy Steve Hunter.
She is survived by sister, Blanche Hunter; sister-in-law, Patsy (Roy) Hunter; nephews, G.W. (Linda) Hunter Jr., Vaughn Steve (Tonya) Hunter, Phillip (Penny) Hunter, Michael Hunter; nieces, Frances (Douglas) Boyd, Janice (Bill) George, Carol Allen, Lisa (Eddie) Coutras; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Ruby was a member of Cofers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and a retired bookkeeper from Genesco. Ruby touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
Officiating the service will be; Dr. Bob Picirilli, Brother Allen Pointer, and Brother Ashley Mofield. The family will serve as Pallbearers.
A celebration of life service will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. Celebration will take place on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 12pm. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 4pm- 8pm at Spring Hill Funeral home. Visitation on Monday before the service will take place from 10am to 12pm. Burial will follow at Heads Cemetery in Robertson County.
