Ruby Lynn Thompson, 63, of Cross Plains, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Born September 6, 1958 in Russellville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Epley and Dorothy Talley Epley.
Ruby was the manager at Express Automotive in Westmoreland. She’ll be remembered as an outspoken lady with a wonderful sense of humor and tremendous work ethic.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Chris Boisseau; brothers Floyd Epley, Jimmy Epley, and Tommy Epley.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Tommie Thompson; daughter Brandi Boisseau; stepdaughter Brandy (John) Benhart; sisters Martha (Ronnie) Murray, Linda (Harold) Farmer, and Mary Hamilton; brothers Tony (Kim) Epley, Jerry (Agnes) Epley, and Sammy (Susie) Epley; grandchildren Christian York, Destiny York, Emia Cavanaugh, Dakota Cavanaugh, Kiara Reed, JoJo Benhart, Little John Benhart, and Megan Thompson; great grandchildren Addison, and Madilynn.
Visitation will be Friday, October 1, 2021 at Spring Hill Funeral Home from 4 PM until 8 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 2 at 12:00 PM with the family receiving friends and visitors two hours prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Funeral Home.
