Rudolph Valentino Hunt's Obituary
HUNT, Rudolph Valentino - Age 84 years, of Nashville, Born October 27, 1925, in Quinton, Alabama, passed away December 16, 2009, in Nashville, Tennessee. Rudolph was a World World II Army Veteran,serving primarly in France. Bro. Hunt was a minister of the Churches of Christ for 64 years, serving in ALA, LA, and TN. He was currently serving as minister at Eastview Church of Christ in Nashville, TN. He graduated with a Master's of Arts in Religion from David Lipscomb College in 1994, and received his Doctorate in 1997. Rudolph's love of preaching and his sense of humor are legacies that will always be cherished.He is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Ova Hunt; first wife, June Spurger Hunt; daughter, Cathy Graves; grandsons, Michael "BB" Graves and Travis Smith. Survived by wife of 9 years, Millie Scott Hunt; daughters, Ann (Terry) Evans, of Lobelville, TN; Beverly Smith, of Greenbrier, TN; grandchildren, Missy (Mike) Bassham, John (Sharmon) Evans, Mark (Erin) Evans, Ashley Graves, Brittany Smith, and Shannon Smith; 7 great grandchildren, special niece, Sandra Hunt (Roy) Johnson; numerous extended family.The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Alive Hospice. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, December 18, 2009, at 10am, at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Rolin officiating. Interment in historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the Hunt family will be on Thursday from 5-8PM, and on Friday from 9am until service time at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY
