Mr. Rufus Randall Puckett's Obituary
Rufus Randall Puckett, age 89, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2017. Rufus was preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife of 48 years, Mary L. Puckett; one daughter Connie Thompson; one brother and four sisters; one grandchild, Christopher Puckett, . He is survived by one son, Dewey F. Puckett (Gayle); two daughters, Linda J. Howard and Tina Resendiz (Margo); sister-in-law Gene Aldridge; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren. Rufus was a family man and was described sometimes as a “tough cookie”. He will best be remembered for his love of westerns and gardening. Above all he will be remembered for his love for his friends and family. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 4-8 pm and again on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 10-11am at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be held in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery with Pastor Leon Edwards officiating.
