Russell Woodrow Craig, Sr.'s Obituary
CRAIG, Sr. Russell Woodrow of Elmwood, TN passed away on September 28, 2009; he was 78. Mr. Craig was a self-employed Brick Mason for many years. He attended the Church of the Nazarene buring his early years. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Stella Mae Desheles Craig; daughters, Sheila (Steve) Burns of Smyrna, TN and Judy (Allen) Deason of Nashville, TN; sons; Russell W. (Paula) Craig of Portland, TN, Robert L. ( Sharon) Craig of Elmwood, TN, Terry Joe Craig of Nashville, TN, Billy (Debbie) Craig of White House, TN, Gary Craig Elmwood, TN and Steven Ray (Sherri) Craig of Springfield, TN; sisters, Brenda Butterworth of Goodlettsville, TN, Marie Schmitz of Phoenis, AZ Patricia Carney of Hendersonville, TN, Debra Patterson of Nolensville, TN and Cheryl Airhardt of Franklin, TN; brother, James Doulas Craig of Murfreesboro, TN; twenty-two grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Rd on Tuesday from 2 to 9 PM and on Wednesday from 9 until funeral time at 3 PM. His brother, Rev. James Douglas "Doug" Craig will officiate and the Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
