Ruth Brown Pflueger's Obituary
PFLUEGER, Ruth Brown of Smyrna, TN passed away on Monday, May 16, 2010; she was 79. Mrs. Pflueger was a bookkeeper for Tennessee Hospital Asso. for over twenty years and was a member of LifePoint Baptist Church in Symrna, TN. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Ann Waterbury, brother, Bethel Brown and a brother-in-law, J.D. Lamberth. Mrs. Pflueger is survived by her loving husband, Frank Pflueger; son, Jeff (Debbie) Waterbury and step-son Mike (Sheila) Pflueger; step-daughter, Rita (Pat) Stacey; brothers, Robert "Bobby"(Norma) Brown, Carl (Maxine) Brown and J. Aaron (Connie) Brown; sister, Ethel Lamberth; grandchildren, Spence and Miles Waterbury and a large wonderful family of nieces and nephews. Ruth was also an avid sports fan and a long time season ticket holder of Vanderbilt sports. The family will receive on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 4 to 7 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, Nashville, TN and where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 11 AM with Dr. Lenny Farmer, Mr. J. Aaron Brown and Mr. Jeff Waterbury officiating. Music will be provided by Debbie Waterbury. Honorary pallbearers are Spence and Miles Waterbury. Active pallbearers are Rusty McClure, Larry Brown, Tommy Brown, Matthew Brown, Jay Brown and Gary Lamberth. The family will also receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
