Mrs. Ruth Kilborn's Obituary
Ruth Kilborn, 77, Clayhole passed away Tuesday, August 29. Ruth was born on May 4, 1940 in Perry County, Kentucky to the late Hiram and Delala (Fugate) Combs. Mrs. Kilborn, along with her husband, Clyde built, founded and pastored the Pentecostal Workers Church at Clayhole. She lived her life for Christ and focused on the message of faith, holiness and praise. Ruth has helped countless of saints to remain faithful in their personal walk of faith and to place all of their trust in God; the books cannot hold the record of the lives she has touched. Her life motto was "All is Well". She was a great cook and you never left her house hungry. She cherished greatly her family, members of the Pentecostal Workers Church and the life that she had been blessed with. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 58 years, Clyde Kilborn; brother, Odis Combs; sister, Lily Mae Combs. Ruth is survived by her son, Harlin Kilborn and wife, Doshia; daughters, Debra Greenwell and husband, Daryl, Diana Lewis and husband, Tim; sister, Evalee Young; brothers, Sewell Combs and Burt Combs; grandchildren, Jonathan and Kelly, Scottie and Tasha, Ronald and Rosie, Kimberly and Rus, Samuel and Kelsie, Daniel and Jessica, Avonda and Donald, Donna and Chris; great grandchildren, Jada, Judah, Mariah, Tytus, Taylor, Jonah, Baby Jon, Benjamin, SamSam, Sederick; host of spiritual sons and daughters; as well as members of the Pentecostal Workers Church. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 2, at 1PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Tapio officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, at 4PM. Interment will follow the services in the Kilborn Cemetery at Clayhole. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
