Mrs. Ruth Sadler's Obituary
Ruth Williams Sadler, age 83 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Nashville passed away September 28, 2014. Mrs. Sadler was born on March 9, 1931 in Cheatham County, Tennessee to the late Charles B. and Eddie Douglas Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Morton “Buster” Sadler; 7 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Beth (Danny) Shumate of Hopkinsville, KY; grandchildren, Todd (Angela) Shumate, Megan (Christopher) Hobson and Shannon Shumate; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Camryn, Chandler, Gabriel, Kingston and Trinity; sisters, Katherine Hall of Montgomery, AL and Madolyn Beal of Oak Ridge, TN and brother, Charles Williams of Gallatin, TN. A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 3rd at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 12-1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Monroe Carell , Jr. Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
