NEAL, Ruth Wilson Yancey - Born November 14, 1916 in Riddleton, TN, Smith County, passed away January 27, 2010 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Walker Neal; parents, Charles Edward Yancey and Hattie James Freed; siblings, Walter M. "Mack" Yancey, Mary Lou Petty, Austin Yancey, Elizabeth Allan, Robert "R.C." Cunningham Yancey, John Yancey, May Garrett and James Yancey. She married Richard Walker Neal Jr. on October 16, 1964, he passed on August 1, 1980. Survived by nieces and nephews, and their families: Sarah (Rex) Williams, Hixson, TN, Sara (Kenneth) Whaley of Hermitage, TN, Charles (Margie) Yancey of Hendersonville, TN, David Allan of Oklahoma City, OK, Kathleen Brown of Clarksville, TN, Odell (Wanda) Garrett of Ringgold, GA; her husband's children and their families: Elaine Adonis and Carol Childress, both of Mt. Juliet, TN. Mrs. Neal was a member of the Jackson Park Church of Christ. Funeral Services will be Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2 p.m., at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with Interment following in historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Jackson Park Christian Home, 4107 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216; or Odyssey Health Care, 444 Metroplex Drive, Suite 102B, Nashville, TN 37211. The family expresses their thanks and gratitude to the caring staff of Jackson Park Christian Home and Odyssey Health Care. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m.,
