Sallye "Gwyn" Wells Murphy
Gwyn Murphy age 85 passed away February 25, 2025, in Nashville at Alive Hospice, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ken "Red" Murphy; parents, Roy and Sallye Wells; and 3 older brothers.
Gwyn grew up in Charlotte, NC and moved to Nashville for her husband to join the Nashville Dixie Flyers hockey team. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, knitting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by sons, Kenny (Nancy) Murphy and Kelly (Michelle) Murphy as well as 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 3 nieces, who will miss her greatly. Special thank you to dear longtime Donelson friends, the Neal Buchanan family and Teresa Robinson.
