Mr. Sammy E. Dismang, Sr.'s Obituary
Sammy E. Dismang, Sr. age 68, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 in Madison, Tennessee. Sammy was born on October 24, 1949 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee to the late Carson and Agnes (Williams) Dismang.
Sammy served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed working, drinking coffee of any type with his favorite being Maxwell House, he also enjoyed collecting coins and model cars. He was a devoted Christian and was a member of the Madison Freewill Baptist Church. He has been described as the most unselfish man and he was humble and kind to everyone that he met. He cherished greatly the life that he had been blessed with.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Nora Jane Presson and his sister, Opal Stoops.
Sammy is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Martha (Keen) Dismang; two sons, Sammy Dismang, Jr. (Crystal) and Jeremy Dismang; daughter, Christy Rawls (Chris); brothers, Ronnie Dismang (Shirley) and Lonnie Dismang (Kathy); sisters, Wanda Keen (Eddie), Elizabeth Moore and Bonnie Page; grandchildren, Chloe, Jessica, Leah, Cierra, Samantha, Carson, Myla and Emily; great-grandson, Thomas Raylee Carter. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 11am until the time of service beginning at 1 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Jeremy Dismang, Sammy Dismang, Jr., Lil Jerry Keen, Ryan Scott, Jerry Page, David Auberson, Jr., Richard Norris and Brad Layhew. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be; Woody Keen, Jessie Miles, Dick Keen, Eric Hardiman and Andy Dismang.
