Mr. Samuel Earl Hutchison's Obituary
On Friday morning, July 27th, 2018, Samuel Earl Hutchison, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior.
He is survived by his wife Delores Hutchison; his son John Hutchison; his daughters Degaye Clifton and Karen Hutchison; his sisters Alice Faye Johnson and Georgia Witcher; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his beloved cat ‘Tabitha.’
He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Dorothy Hutchison and his brother Louis Hutchison.
Samuel lived a beautiful and blessed life with many achievements such as his 4 year career in the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant, retiring from Dixie Graphics after 45 years of service, living as an active Church of Christ member throughout his life, and perhaps his most proud achievement being married for 53 years. Everyone he came into contact with, in life, he left a positive mark, and never met a stranger.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 30 from 4 PM till 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Madison. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 31 at 11 AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with family receiving visitors from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM. Entombment will follow in The Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
His pallbearers will be John Hutchison, Connor Hutchison, Mark Byrom, Carl Morris, Jim Young, and Billy Hutcherson.
