Mr. Samuel L Walls' Obituary
Samuel Lee Walls, age 72, of Nashville, TN passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2021 at the Alive Hospice Center in Nashville, TN. He was born on March 29, 1949 in Cedar Grove, TN to Robert Cecil Walls and Janie Bowles Walls. Sam graduated from TPS (TN Preparatory School) in 1968 and went on to attend college at MTSU. He retired from Vought Aircraft Industries, INC. in Nashville and was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church.
Sam enjoyed bowling, fishing, collecting baseball memorabilia, listening to music and watching his westerns.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cecil Walls and Janie Bowles Walls; Brother, RC Walls.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Ruth H Walls; Sister Katherine Knoble; Stepdaughters Jamie Spencer(Doug), Kelly Firestone(Roger); Grandchildren Kaite Rowe(Kenny), Dalton Jones(Cheyenne), Hannah Elliott(Josh), Payton Jones, Aidan Richardson, Gabrielle Spencer(Ryan), Rebecca Spencer; Great Grandchildren Aubrey, Easton, Averie, Eliza, Zayden, Brayden, Jordan; Special Cousin Danny McMinn; Special Friend Charlie Greer; Beloved furbaby Molly.
Pallbearers: Charlie Greer, Doug Spencer, Dalton Jones, Kenny Rowe, Aidan Richardson, Josh Groves and alternate Roger Firestone.
Visitation will be held at Springhill Funeral Home & Cemetery in Madison, TN on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 4pm-8pm & Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from Noon-2pm with services following at 2pm.
