San Nim's Obituary
San Nim, age 57, of Nashville, Tennessee, sadly passed away on July 2, 2024, at her home. She leaves behind a spouse and 5 wonderful children.
San is survived by her loving spouse of 25+ years, Arthur Martin; her five children, Daroth Men, V-Rack Men, Jenny Men, Donovan Martin, and Ryan Martin; her grandchildren, Mulan Johnson, Mazi Men, and Amelia Men; her sister, Phally Nim, and her brothers On Nim and Soy San. She was preceded in death by her parents, Soy Nim and Ith Nim; her oldest son, Dara Men, and her nephew, Chowan Chhay.
She was born on May 4, 1967, in Battambang, Cambodia, in which she spent the majority of her childhood years. She later on settled in a refugee camp for two years before migrating to the United States. She resided in Nashville, Tennessee for most of her life with her spouse, children, and grandchildren.
San was a hardworking, honest, intelligent, kind, and strong woman who devoted her life to taking care of her family. She would try her best to make sure no one in her family struggled for anything. Her favorite past times were cooking Cambodian dishes, fishing, gardening, landscaping, looking after her grandchildren, shopping, and taking pictures. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, kindness, and compassion she showed everyone.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from eleven thirty in the morning until the time of the funeral service at one o’clock in the afternoon at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville.
