Mrs. Sandra Hackney's Obituary
Mrs. Sandra R. Hackney, age 80 of Manchester, Tennessee went to be with The Lord on the morning of Friday, April 23, 2021. She was born on December 21, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Paul and Beatrice Rhea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Jeannie Gleaves. She is survived by her loving husband Ted Hackney, Sr., her children Angela Edison, James Blansett, and Stanley Blansett, her twin sister Sylvia Ballard, grandchildren Andrea Koplinski and Murphy Edison, and three great-grandchildren.
Sandra was a fun and spirited person, who was full of love to give. Sandra was a 1958 graduate of East High School in Nashville and was very involved in the Alumni Association there. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Ted, and together they visited many interesting and exciting places all over the world. She and Ted loved to dance, and they actually met through square dancing and line dancing. Sandra also loved sewing as a hobby as well.
A visitation for Mrs. Hackney will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 12pm to 2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life Funeral Service beginning at 2pm. Burial in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery will follow.
