Mrs. Sarah Lampley's Obituary
Lampley , Sarah B. born February 3, 1924 passed away after 95 years on February 16, 2019. She was the daughter of Arah and Joe Brown and had 9 brothers and sisters. She was married to Montgomery J. Lampley, 59 years, and was blessed with two sons, Donald X. and Dave A. Lampley. She is survived by her son Donald, daughter-in-law Vechere’ V. Lampley, and two adored grandchildren - Christopher D. Lampley and Rebecca M. Lampley of Pleasant View TN, her sister Connie Conatser, Nashville, brother Harold Brown, Portland, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Oak Grove, TN and the Madison Chapter Eastern Star #479. She served as a wartime Veteran in the United States Navy and the State of Tennessee in Taxpayer Services. She loved the camaraderie of friends and family through camping, sewing and celebrations.
Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 21st, Thursday, at the Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Pike South, Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation is from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday February 20th and 8:30 to 10:00 am prior to funeral service. Burial will follow at the Sherron Cemetery on Hwy 52W near Oak Grove, TN at approximately 11:45. No procession.
