Mrs. Sarah Watson's Obituary
Age 95, May 1, 2018.
Graduated DuPont High School in 1940. Attended Protestant Nursing School, Nashville, TN, 1940 -1942. Retired from Berry Wholesale Drug Co. in 1984.
Daughter of the late Jake Hugh Mathis and Evangeline Love Mathis of Old Hickory, TN.
Mrs. Watson is preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Watson, Jr., daughter, Candace L. Watson, grandson, Christopher Boyce, sisters, Louise Kimbro and Eva Rowland.
Survived by son, Johnny M. Watson, daughters, Jacqueline (Lin) Perry and Jan (Don) DeMarcus; grandchildren, Jeffrey Boyce (Kim), Candace Harrison, Shannon Watson, Jason DeMarcus (Collette) and Joshua DeMarcus (Concetta); great-grandchildren, Holland and Hailey Barnett, Connor and Glynnis Boyce, Lauren and Brianna Watson, Noa, Kennedi and Gavin DeMarcus and Catalina DeMarcus; nieces, Mildred Swinea and Barbara Tucker; nephew, Charles Rowland.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, May 3, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Friday beginning at 10:00 am, until her Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am with Don Loftis officiating.
Active pallbearers will be: Jeffrey Boyce, Jason DeMarcus, Joshua DeMarcus, Greg Swinea, Jeff Swinea, Pat Nevill, Mark Kimbro and Stan Goad.
In lieu of flowers, donatcions may be to the Old Hickory Church of Christ.
