Mr. Scott Charles Bayer's Obituary
Scott Charles Bayer, age 53 of Nashville, passed away April 22, 2013. Mr. Bayer was born December 16, 1959 in Rochester, NY to Charles E. and Cynthia Long Bayer.
He worked as a purchasing agent for Hercules Bolt and attended St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Madison, TN. While living in Fort Myers, FL, he attended Riverdale High School. After his family moved to Nashville, he graduated from Stratford High School. He enjoyed auto racing, fishing, basketball and especially football. He was a fan of the Buffalo Bills and Arkansas Razorbacks.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Allen. He is survived by his parents; brother, Edward Allen Bayer; aunts, Virginia (Robert) Reddy and Barbara Mahoney; nephews, Terry, Taylor and Adrian Allen and Jeremiah Bayer; nieces, Heather and Anna Grace Bayer and cousins, Ronald and Thomas Reddy and Kathleen Schelling.
A celebration of Mr. Bayer’s life will be conducted at 10 A.M., Thursday, April 25, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Tyus officiating. Entombment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, April 24 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
