Scott Logan Compton's Obituary
Scott Logan Compton, 54, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, sadly passed away July 17, 2024. He was born November 28, 1969, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Samuel Logan Compton, Jr, and the late Nancy Jo Smith Compton.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, Don Collins; grandmother, Gladys “Dodie” Hinkle; uncle, Walter Ronald Compton; and cousin, Angela Compton Cole.
Scott is survived by his father, Sam (Carolyn) Compton; aunt, Peggy Crosby Klugman; cousins, Melissa (Mike) Compton Hester, Phillip Crosby, and Randall (Coleen) Wilson; stepbrothers, Scott Davis and Kevin (Claudia) Hittle; stepsister, Melissa (Tod) Hittle Nichols; and several other family members.
Scott had a love for all things sports. You could always find him watching all the games. His favorite sport to watch and enjoy was NASCAR. Every Sunday, you could find him at his dad’s house enjoying the race and having a good lunch provided by Carolyn. He had loved to travel, especially to Panama City Beach. He made a 17-year career out of car detailing. He was also a life-long member of the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville. Scott will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be July 24, 2024, from 10 o'clock in the morning until time of service. The service will be at 12 o'clock in the afternoon in the Spring Hill Chapel. Burial will follow immediately after at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
