Mrs. Sharon Lea Singleton Whitehead Ambrose's Obituary
Sharon Lea Singleton Whitehead Ambrose met her Lord and Savior on May 27, 2016 after a short battle against pancreatic cancer. Sharon was born January 12, 1959 in Chula Vista, California to Jerry and Gloria Aylor Singleton. She grew up in Texas, where she graduated from San Saba High School and attended Tarleton State University. Sharon began her work career as an admissions clerk for Brownwood Regional Hospital and ended it as a service level manager at HCA corporate headquarters in Nashville. Sharon was flamboyant, creative, opinionated, generous and lived her life with abundance. She never missed an opportunity to minster the Gospel to those in need. Sharon had a passion for fishing and loved the beach. Her next trip to somewhere was always in the planning stages and so it was appropriate that her last trip was to the coast, where she was fortunate enough to spend her last days, surrounded by her family.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Randall Ambrose; two daughters, Gena Jones and Jena Shea Whitehead; stepsons Neal and Tony Ambrose; grandsons Corbin and Carson Jones; sister D'Ann and husband Dennis Spinks; nephews Casey and Kirby Spinks; sister-in-laws Annalynn and husband Sid Hinkle and Sandra Cole; aunt and uncle Peggy and John Adams; several cousins; and a host of friends. If you were fortunate enough to know Sharon, please join us for visitation Sunday, May 29, 2016, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, May 30, 2016, 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216, 615-865-1101, www.springhillfh.com.
