Mrs. Sharon Thompson's Obituary
Sharon Rose Thompson, age 66, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She was born on April 14, 1952 to the late Edward O’Neal and Thelma (Parks) Trice.
Sharon enjoyed spending time fishing and the family laughed when they remembered her getting mad when her fishing line would get hung up. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished the life that she had been blessed with.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Charles Thompson and a grandson, Daniel Barton.
She is survived by her sons, James Kimbell (Kathleen) and Christopher Kimbell; daughters, Sharon Barton (Marty) and Michelle Hendrix; brother, Alan Trice; sisters, Karen Reed and Susie Jones; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 11 am at Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Road Nashville, TN 37216). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 4-8 pm and on Thursday, March 21 from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
