As Shelley Flynn, she attended Ontario High School, and then moved to Hawaii,
attending the Church College of Hawaii. Soon after, she realized her dream of
being a professional singer and entertainer for many years. Shelley moved to
Nashville in 1981 with her son Spencer, and began their life in the Nashville community,
where she found Joy using her gift of song in her church. In 1983 she
met and married Randall Phillips, and was blessed with a second child, Jessica
Phillips. She lived a Most Wonderful Life until her special gifts were needed in the
next world of all that is Divine. Her family is comforted by knowing that Shelley
is at Peace now, doing good deeds in the Light.
All are invited to a Celebration of Life for Shelley Phillips. It will be held on
Wednesday, June 15, at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, 1200 Forrest Park Drive,
Nashville, Tn 37205, entering through the Visitors Services Building. There will

Her family extends sincerest gratitude for the various caregivers who helped
Shelley through her transition, particularly Teri Davidson and Kathy Meadows,
as well as all the wonderful people at Alive Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, Shelley would appreciate any inspired donations to go to her
church, the Center for Spiritual Living Nashville, 6705 Charlotte Pike, Nashville,
Tn 37209, where she developed her special spiritual nature. Or go out and do some
Good Work in her honor.
