Ms. Shirley Blackwell's Obituary
Shirley JoAnn Blackwell, age 81 of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on December 9, 2019. She was born on August 3, 1938 to the late Douglas and Ruth Cannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Cannon, Carol Morris, and her granddaughter Ashleigh Blackwell. She is survived by her children Alan and Sonja Blackwell, her sister Juel McCullough, Walker and Heston Blackwell, great-grandchildren Tyson, Kason, Remington, and Ledger, and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a precious soul. She was loving, kind, and had a very generous and giving spirit. She loved reading, poetry, and old movies - especially anything with Clark Gable. She was particularly fond of music as well. She particularly enjoyed big band music and anything and everything from Elvis Presley to pop, to Three Dog Night.
A visitation will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 2-4pm with a Celebration of Life Funeral Service beginning at 4pm.
