Mrs. Shirley Gay Connor's Obituary
Mrs. Shirley Gay Connor went home to be with her Lord on February 19, 2018. She was born on November 11, 1938 to Madge Charlene and Thomas Jackson Fox.
Shirley's true passion was for her family, providing them with an unending love and care. She also loved singing, dancing, playing the guitar, and piano. She also enjoyed playing golf.
On February 11, 1956, Shirley married the love of her life, Charles Robert Connor. They recently celebrated 62 years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Connor; granddaughter, Virginia Lee Connor; brothers, Mike and Dennis Fox; and sister, Sherry Smith.
Survivng is her beloved husband; son, Glen; daughter, Marilyn (Marty); grandchildren, Michelle Connor Carr (Nathan) and Michael Ryan Connor (Sarah); and great-grandchildren, Cole, Clair, Ruthy, Gwen, Elle Carr, and Jeremy Connor; and brothers, Gary, Larry, Johnny, Steve, and Roy Fox.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Friday, February 23, 2018 with Dr. Harry Yates officiating. Visitation will be held the same day from 10 am until service time. Interment to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
