Mrs. Shirley Farmer's Obituary
Shirley J. Farmer, age 70, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was a retired respiratory therapist at Centennial Medical Center for 26 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; son, Paul Neighbours Jr. (Shirley), one grandson, Casey Neighbours; her sisters, Glenda Sweeney (Wayne), Edna Axexander (Hudson); brother in law, Robert Norris and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mae Dunn; her beloved sister, Teresa Harris; brother, Rickey Dunn, and sister in law, Mary Norris. Visitation for Shirley will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from Noon until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Entombment will be on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10 AM, friends and visitors are ask to meet at The Historic Chapel Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Gilda’s Club of Nashville or Alive Hospice.
