Mrs. Shirley Mae Haskins' Obituary
Shirley Mae Haskins, age 82, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018. Born June 17, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herman Raymer and Altie Avritt.
In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jasper Pete Haskins; one son, Mickey Haskins; one daughter, Mazy McQueenie Haskins; two grandchildren, Tonya Haskins and Darin Allgood; two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Johnny (Lisa) Haskins, Gary (Eva) Haskins; three daughters, Judy (Ken) Nelson, Janice (Thomas) Powell, and Sheila Sanders; 28 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley loved playing Bingo and was considered a good cook. She loved spending time with family and Grandkids. She will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5 from 9 AM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home 5110 Gallatin Pike in Nashville. A funeral will be held on Thursday, December 6, at 11 AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Thomas Powell officiating. The family will receive visitors 2 hours prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
