Mrs. Shirley June Latimer Green's Obituary
Born July 2, 1932 in Nashville to Harris and Floudie Latimer, and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 66 years, Ellis Clinton "E.C." Green, Jr.; son, Richard Green; daughter-in-law, Melanie Green; and sister, Joan Lunsford.
Survived by her children, Michelle (Joe) Wasill, Chuck Green, Randy Green, and Troy Green; grandchildren, Joseph (Amanda) Wasill, Angela (Michael) Russell, Brandon (Melissa) Green, Angie Green, Nicole Green, Brittney (Richard) Fisher, and Daniel Green; 15 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara (Larry) Darks; brother-in-law, Dennis (Yolanda) Liggett; and many nieces and nephews.
She attended Hendersonville High School, and retired from Dupont in Old Hickory. She enjoyed fishing and hunting, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, January 18, 2018 and again on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 19 in the chapel at Spring Hill with interment to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
