Mrs. Siddie Virginia Cheatham's Obituary
Siddie Virginia Cheatham, age 86, of Cottontown, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Siddie was born on November 5, 1931 in Elmwood, Tennessee to the late Callie Odell Bush and Vallie C. Blair.
Siddie loved being outdoors whether she was tending to her flowers or working in the garden. She loved to cook and was good at it, always wanting to make sure everyone had been fed. She truly enjoyed babysitting and would babysit for anyone and everyone. Siddie was a member of the Birdwell’s Chapel Church of Christ in Cottontown, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Cheatham and a daughter Karen Tankersley in April of 2018.
She is survived by a son David (Julie) Cheatham; three daughters Dianne Letner, Sheila (Tim) Burnette and Jennell (Doug) Pirtle; brothers Robert (Sue) Bush and John A. (Melba) Bush; grandchildren Bryan (Diana) Pirtle, Amy (Chad) Harrison, Kimberly (Stanley) Dowlen, Keith (Dustin) Johnson-Sisk, Kyle (Kelsey) Sisk, Holly Hilgadiack, Alex Cheatham, Tanner Cheatham, Olivia Langdon; great-grandchildren Brianna Loggins, Blaine Pirtle, Kylie Pirtle, Ryleigh Harrison, Abigail Hilgadiack, Jon-Michael Harrison, Adrienne Bowen, Logan Bowen, Brett Sisk, Colby Bowen, Jada Rice and Ashlyne Dowlen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 12 PM-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 10 AM until 2 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 25, at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Pirtle, Keith Johnson-Sisk, Kyle Sisk, Alex Cheatham, Tanner Cheatham, Colby Bowen, Blaine Pirtle and Jon-Michael Harrison.
