Sloan Macallistar Lowery, 23, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021. Born September 29, 1997 in Nashville, he was the son of Raymond L. Strickland and the late Ginger Gwynne Lowery.
Sloan loved video games and was a ‘gamer’ all his life. He was also an avid skateboarder. Sloan liked to experiment in the kitchen and was known to make his grandmother breakfast in bed.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ginger Gwynne Lowery; maternal grandfather Dennis Lowery; and uncle Jeremy Lowery.
He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Beverly Lowery; father Raymond L. (Nicole) Strickland; paternal grandmother Wanda Jean Curry; uncles Justin Lambert and Jason Lambert; and he was the nephew of Calpernia Addams.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 12 PM until 2 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM with burial following in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery alongside his family.
