Condolences to the family of Mrs Cook. I graduated from high school with Barry and I have very fond memories of the family.
Dad and Bobby Mullinax used to cut firewood at the Cook's place and one winter I found the water in a well frozen on their property. It was too much for a young boy to pass up and I decided to "skate". After falling through the ice, Mrs. Stella rushed me into the house, wrapped me up in dozens of blankets, washed and dried my clothes, and fed me to warm my insides as if I was her own. And I might have well as been since she loved on me and every one else as such. Say hi to Mom.
This breaks my heart! Stella Belle (as I called her) & later found out this was her real name was so special to our family! we went to church camp with her when Heather & Mandy were little bitty, we bowled on church league with them, she loved her grandkids soooo much & would tell you all about them. she taught me many things about life, she was like a sister to me. I will miss her infectious laugh. But know she is in Heaven with her grandson Jagger, that she never got over losing him! Love you, Stella Bell ! wait for me!!!!
