Mr. Stephan Randall Murray's Obituary
Stephan Randall Murray passed away at age 60 on Friday, December 14th, 2018. He resided in Mount Juliet, Tennessee for 44 years. Stephan was born on May 25th, 1958 to Thomas Monroe Murray and Virginia Lucille Newton Murray.
Mr. Murray was a big history buff, could tell you anything you wanted to know about WWI and WWII to current events. He was a competitive shooter with all types of firearms and a Range Officer. He loved the military and planes and all military equipment. He was a Master Goldsmith and a Gemologist, he enjoyed designing and making his own jewelry and has been a Master jeweler for 42 years.
Stephan is survived by his loving wife of eighteen years, Faye (McCoy) Murray; daughters, Morgan Faye Murray, Sabrina Ashton Murray, Sarah Murray; son, Stephan Robert (Kayla) Murray; grandchild, Jude Murray; sister Sandra Murray; and a woman to whom he considers his second mother, Jan Gwynne.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Lynne Murray and brother Thomas “Tony” Anthony Murray; grandparents, Ernest Baxter Murray & Pearl Harbison from Dickson, Tennessee and Clarence R Newton & Julia Fine McCulley from Nashville Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28th, 2018 from 4pm until 8pm. The Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29th, 2018 at 12pm with one hour of visitation prior at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Murray family plot in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Following all services, there will be a tribute dinner at McNamara’s Irish Pub and Restaurant 2740 Old Lebanon Rd, Nashville, TN 37214. All family and friends are invited to join together in remembrance of Mr. Stephen Murray. To RSVP, please contact Tammy McCormick at 615-415-6490.
