Mr. Sterling E. Bentley's Obituary
Bentley, Sterling E., age 88 of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on March 22, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, June Crockett Bentley, two daughters; Sheila B. Hunt (David) and Deborah Dabkowski; three grandsons, William Hunt, Greg and Jesse Dabkowski; two great-grandsons, and two sisters.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Marines where he was awarded the Bronze Star with combat V. He received a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree from Marshall University. He retired from the Centers for Disease Control.
There will be no visitation or services. At the request of the family, please do not send flowers or memorials.
