Steve Dale Grove, "Groove"'s Obituary
Steve went to be with the Lord our Savior on June 4th, 2023.
Born in Nashville, TN on July 15, 1955, 67 years young. He was a graduate of Hendersonville High School and University of the Ozarks with a Degree in Computer Programming. GROOVE was a lifelong Nashvillian. His jobs included First American National Bank, Murray Ohio Mfg. Co and Deloitte & Touche.
Steve was referred to as GROOVE, his nickname for 25+ years. He even had ‘GROOVE’ on his license plate! He loved watching sports, collecting CDs of every genre and he especially loved to dance and impersonate Elvis.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Walter T. Grove and Mother, Evelyn Wheeler Grove. He is survived by his brother, Gary Grove; his Son Ryan; Daughter-in-Law Julianne and Grandson Banks; his loving Aunts & Uncles, and many cousins.
He was laid to rest in a private inurnment ceremony at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville on Friday, October 13, 2023, with close family present. Steve, The GROOVE, will be so sadly missed by all.
