Mr. Steven Ray Castleman's Obituary
Mr. Steven Ray Castleman, 64, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Steve was born January 6, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Robert Alonzo Castleman and Jacqueline Duncan Castleman.
Like his father, Steve was a carpenter. He also worked as a boat mechanic. He could literally fix anything unless it belonged to his wife. Steve was a Tennessee Titans fan and shared a love for motorcycle racing with his son. He was known as ‘Buster’ by his children. He’ll fondly be remembered as a stubborn man with a great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his dog Rocky, Bear, Princess, and Bridgett.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy Castleman; son Robert Ray Castleman; daughters Misty (Rickey) Adams, Crystal Young, and Sylvia Cooksey; grandchildren Melissa Young, Danny Nixon, Freya Cooksey and James Pike; brothers Jerry (Pauline) Castleman and Mike Castleman; sisters Linda Castleman-Newbill and Patricia Castleman.
A Celebration of Life Funeral service will be conducted at 12 PM on Monday, December 30 at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN, 37216. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
