Mrs. Sue Clayborn Lawhorn Burgett's Obituary
Sue Clayborn Lawhorn Burgett, age 89 of Nashville passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. She was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class at Inglewood Baptist Church for over 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Lawhorn; daughter, Sherry Dianne Southgate; brothers, Jon and Malcolm Clayborn. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Calvin Burgett; son, Larry E. (Genni) Lawhorn of Nashville. 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survive.
Her family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday, February 10 and from 10 a.m. until her Celebration of Life Service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Dr. Kevin Shrum. Pallbearers will include Chuck Lawhorn, Jon Lawhorn, James Eddings, Andy Wheat, Layne Wheat and Jay Omainnin. Interment will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
