Mrs. Sue Brown Harding's Obituary
Sue Brown Harding of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the age of 80. Born August 26, 1942, in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Allen Brown and Elma Lucille Albarez Brown.
Sue was a prayer warrior. She was a member of Madison Christian Church and formerly attended Grace Baptist Church. Sue led bible studies and was heavily involved in many of the church’s ministries. She loved traveling, spending time with family and friends, and her LSU Tigers. She enjoyed being a grandmother and tried to be involved in the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Harding; sisters Gayle Smith and Barbara Moran.
She is survived by her daughter Sherri DeRoos; sons Jeff (Carla) Harding and Todd (Gina) Whitney; grandchildren Josh Ladd, Jana (Ryan) LaPointe, Kara (Shawn) Ray, Daniel Whitney, Megan Whitney, Alissa Whitney, Gavin Harding and Sophie Harding; great grandchildren Carla Rodriguez, Bella LaPoine, Marlee Ladd, and Aubrey LaPointe; sister Judy (Bob) Dubos; brother-in-law Roy Moran; sisters-in-law Mary Simmons and Linda (Mark) Freeman; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 8th from 2 PM until 7 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM officiated by Tim Baines.
