Mrs. Sue Carol Penick's Obituary
Sue Carol Penick, age 79, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Friday, January 12, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillie Haywood; husband of 35years, Jack Penick. She is survived by three sons; Jeffrey Penick, (Pam), Anthony Penick ( Melony), Philip Penick; one daughter, Dawn McCasland (Eric); one sister Nancy Martin (Doug); six grandchildren, Ashley Gill (Seth), Brad Penick, Caycee Duffer (Jon), Devin Sanders (Loren), Jack McCasland, Abby McCasland; and her best friend, Lucy Myers and dear friend and colleague Dr. Newt Lovvorn. Sue was a nurse for 40 years. Aside from her professional career she loved humming birds, plants and reading. She loved to host friends and family for Christmas and was considered a good cook. Sue was a very giving person and will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Visitation for Sue will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 2 pm until 8 pm and again on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 10 am until 11 am at which time a celebration of life funeral service will be conducted from the chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery.
