Sue Ann Schofield, 83, peacefully passed away on July 13, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on March 24, 1943 in Nashville, TN. Sue lived a life dedicated to her family, faith, and community. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughters, Sherry LeeAnn Decker and Julie Elizabeth Burge, and a wonderful mother-in-law to Julie’s husband, Mark. She cherished her grandsons, John Harold Burge and Benjamin Aaron Burge, who brought endless happiness to her life.
She is survived by her daughters Sherry, and Julie (Mark); her stepsons Thomas Robert Schofield (Stephanie Kartalopoulos), and James Eric Schofield; her grandsons John and Benjamin; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kurtis Eric Schofield; her parents, James and Mary Shepperson; and her sister, Martha Jo Broadway.
