Mrs. Susan Stcharles' Obituary
Susan Dorothy (Spann) Stcharles, age 75, slipped into eternity on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is now living in the promise of eternal life given to her by placing her faith in Jesus Christ. She is enjoying all that heaven has in store for her and we rejoice in her homegoing.
Susan served her country by being a vocalist in the United States Navy. She enjoyed wheelin’ and dealin’ on craigslist and she enjoyed working in her candy store, of where she made some of the best chocolate fudge you’ve ever tasted. Susan was a brilliant songwriter and has composed many songs. She enjoyed playing the guitar and was able to provide lessons to many people. She loved animals, especially cats. Most of all, she loved the Lord, her husband Jason and her friends. Susan had a special gift of presenting the gospel of Jesus to anyone that she met. Susan is a 5th generation of her hometown, Anderson, California. Her great great grandfather founded the town when there was practically nobody there. She cherished the life that she had been blessed with.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. Spann and Dorothy Marcella Belknap Spann.
Susan is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Jason St. Charles; sisters, Karen Spann Anderson and Rhonda Spann Nehr. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2 pm at the Global Fire Church (325 Wala Court, Murfreesboro, TN 37128) with Pastor Michael Ashburn officiating. Inurnment will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11 am at the Nashville National Cemetery.
