Her grandchildren by whom she is survived include Christopher and Cullen Dickerson, Preston and Elle West, Noelle and Nate King, and great-grandson E.J. Dickerson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Tamah had an impact on every single person with whom she came into contact. She has often been described by friends and family as “an angel.” She was a forgiving, kind, generous, and caring person with a heart like Jesus who made it a point to show unconditional love to everyone in her life. Tamah’s family meant everything to her, and she showed that with every opportunity she could, even acting as a caregiver to her mother for a period of time.
Tamah was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and served as a Regional Coordinator for the organization Silent No More for a number of years. Tamah’s family and friends always lovingly joked that she ran on what they referred to as “Tamah Time” as she was often late. She loved the beach, travel, shopping, and chocolate, especially dark chocolate covered pomegranates and cherries. Although often described as a social butterfly, Tamah still very much enjoyed her quiet time, and as a devout Catholic Christian, enjoyed spending much of that quiet time in prayer.
