We gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Tammy Susan Bessire, a bright spirit who filled each day with purpose and creativity. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, Tammy carried her joyful energy all the way to La Vergne, Tennessee, where she passed on July 9th, 2026.
Tammy was an excellent cook, known for turning simple ingredients into comforting meals that brought everyone to the table. She was happiest with a saw in hand, shaping wood into pieces that spoke of skill and love.
Numbers came just as naturally to her; she excelled at balancing every account down to the last cent. Her talent for design shone in the home she crafted, where each room reflected her style and the warmth of her wood projects.
Tammy’s life touched her family most of all. She shared her journey with her husband of 25 years, Michael Bessire and her son Corey Huff, who will carry forward the strength and care she showed them every day.
As we remember Tammy, we see her influence in every meal enjoyed, every well-made shelf, and every orderly ledger. Her legacy of talent, precision, and love will continue to guide and comfort all who knew her.
