Ms. Tammy "Alexandria" Meadows' Obituary
Tammy Ann Meadows, 53, of La Vergne TN passed away on August 20th, 2021 peacefully in her sleep.
Tammy was born on January 27th, 1968 to Frankie and Herbert Meadows in El Paso, Texas. Tammy was the baby out of the 5 children and was always ready for adventure. She could always be heard telling a story of her loving parents, her crazy childhood, and how she would shadow her best friend/sister, Valerie. Tammy used to tell her children that she could never live more than a couple hours away from her best friend Valerie because she couldn’t imagine a life without her in it. Tammy graduated from Clearlake High School in 1986.
In 1987, Tammy had her first child, Marsalina. Her second child, Jacquelynn was born in 1989, her third child Herbert was born in 1990. Deon was her last and fourth child born in 1991. If you let Tammy tell you the story, she stopped after Deon because she knew he was the perfect child.(LOL)
When Tammy had Marsalina, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and loving mother. Tammy excelled at supporting Jacquelynn in band, Deon in football, and inspiring Herbert to pursue a career in business. Tammy supported her family through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting Marsalina in her career changes or helping her grandsons get through home schooling for a year, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
Tammy was passionate about cake decorating and when she wasn’t filling her home with laughter and teaching moments, she could be found in the dining room pouring her soul out on a cake order. We will miss her greatly.
Tammy was predeceased by her father and her mother. She is survived by her three siblings Valerie, Fred, and Darlene. Her four children Marsalina, Jacquelynn, Herbert, and Deon. Her four grandchildren Cameron, Tegan, Tristen, and Layne.
