Ms. Tammy Thrash's Obituary
Tammy Renee (Boyd) Thrash, age 47, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. Tammy was born on December 9, 1971 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Roy Eugene Boyd, Sr. and Brenda Faye (Caruthers) Boyd.
Tammy worked for many years as a dispatcher for LSO Final Mile. She enjoyed seeing flowers and spending her time looking at the beauty in the world. Tammy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She cherished the life that she had been blessed with.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her aunt, Linda Caruthers; brother-in-law, Robin Gates and her cousin, Mark Caruthers.
Tammy is survived by her son, Michael Thrash (Ally); daughter, Megan Markham; grandchildren, Evalynn Montano, Alyssa and Harper Thrash; sisters, Lora Pinkerton (Tim), Rhonda Gates, Tonya Boyd, Tracey Sawyers (Jason), Tabatha Boyd (Donald Phelps); brother, Roy Boyd, Jr.; cousins, Mike Caruthers, Chere Ketchum (Danny), William McGreger (Kristina); twenty-one nieces and nephews along with several great nieces and nephews. Tammy is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 8 am until 1 pm at the Broadmoor Baptist Church (518 Broadmoor Drive Nashville, TN 37216). A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 1 pm at the church. Inurnment will follow the services at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
