Taylor Wayne Smith, 30, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022. Born April 30, 1992, in Nashville, he was the son of Jerry Frank Smith, Jr. and the late Patricia Daniels.
His family will remember Taylor for his love of the Tennessee Titans, Vanderbilt athletics and all types of music.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his aunt Shelly Jones.
He is survived by his daughter Ella Christine Smith; father Jerry Frank Smith, Jr. and his companion Christina Lassiter; brother Leo Daniels; sister Brandy Nicole; aunts Pam Hundley, Teresa Terry, and Christy Daniels; paternal grandparents Jerry Frank Smith, Sr and Patricia Smith; maternal grandmother Sally Brown; niece Nakaylee Johnson; nephew Lorenzo Johnson; several cousins including Chris Terry, Jamie Terry, Tamera Morgan and Amber Morgan; and the mother of his child, Amy Alvey.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, from 11 am until 2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm officiated by Jamie Terry. Burial will take place in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
