Mr. Ted Hellegaard's Obituary
Ted Hellegaard, age 66, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Franklin, Kentucky. He was born on March 9, 1951 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Harold Theodore Hellegaard, Sr. and Virginia (Jordan) Hellegaard.
Ted earned his Master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and was an Avid Trumpeter and Conductor. Ted had an interest in history, specifically, politics and religion; he could be referred to as a “amateur historian.” He enjoyed time spent with his family, especially teaching his granddaughters how to cook and dinnertime Bible stories. Mr. Hellegaard was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by the Love of his life, Katharine Joan Hellegaard; brother, Harry Fedden; sister, Patricia Bullion.
Ted is survived by daughters, Jeanie Groves, and husband, Keith, Juliette Nichols, and husband David, Jennifer Harris and husband, Dave Weisbrot; brother, Joseph Fedden; sister, Jeanie Broom; grandchildren, Olivia Groves and Alexis Groves. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Sherman officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
