Mr. Terrence "Terry" Finnerty's Obituary
Terrence “Terry” Finnerty of Madison, TN passed away on July 23, 2019 in Sumner county. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Finnerty.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Barbara Finnerty; son, Kevin Finnerty; sister, Mary Ann McQuen; grandchildren, Matthew Finnerty, Sarah Finnerty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was a police officer in Gary, IN for 20 years. He moved to Nashville after retiring from the police force in 1982. Terry worked for the state of TN for 19 years. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Alive Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
A Visitation will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church from 10am-11am, with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11am. Burial will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, Hermitage TN.
