Mrs. Terri T. Sturdivant's Obituary
Terri Travis Sturdivant was a wife, mother, mimi, sister, and friend to many. When thinking of Terri, Proverbs 31:26 immediately comes to mind.
“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” Terri will forever be remembered by her humble demeanor and the kindness she showed to those around her.
Terri was born on April 29, 1960, in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from Stratford High School in 1978.
In November of 1981, Terri married Wayne Sturdivant. Together, they have two sons, Justin (Laura) and Eric. Terri had two grandsons, Brooks and Braxton. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were the light of her life, and her favorite times were spent enjoying her precious family. Terri also adored her Cavalier King Charles spaniels.
She was a mentor and an inspiration to the hundreds of students who passed through the kindergarten at Goodpasture Christian School where Terri had served for the past 26 years.
Terri is survived by her husband, Wayne; children Justin (Laura), and Eric; grandchildren Brooks, and Braxton; brothers Hugh (Diana) Travis, and Phil (Karen) Travis; nieces and nephews Brittany Travis Webb, Wesley Travis, Phillip Travis, and Ryan Travis.
