Terry Dean Kincaid's Obituary
Terry Dean Kincaid, 82, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026. He was born on May 15, 1943, and lived a life marked by resilience, intelligence, responsibility, loyalty, and hard work.
For more than four decades, Mr. Kincaid was a well-respected self-taught locksmith and the sole owner of Metro Lock & Key. His professional dedication earned him the trust of clients and colleagues throughout the community. He worked with companies like HCA, KFC, Dollar General, and the Metro Nashville Police Department helping with the investigations that required his skills.
He was predeceased by his mother, Ruby Scott, his stepfather Jessie Scott, his sister, Ruby Kincaid Webb, and his brothers, James Kincaid and Bobby Kincaid.
Mr. Kincaid is survived by his daughter Stephanie Kincaid and his grandsons Nathan Dean Arendall, Steven Kincaid, Jaydon Kincaid, and Jonathan Kincaid, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family honors his memory with gratitude for his steadfast presence in their lives, cherishing the lessons he shared about patience, precision, and putting others first.
