Thelma L. Bell's Obituary
Thelma L. Bell, 83, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Bell, Sr., parents, Cynthia Pearl and James Laughlin, and nine siblings.
She is survived by her three children, Vicki Holt (Jere), Terri Butler (Skip) and John Bell, Jr., five grandchildren, Jere Holt, Jr., Lindsey Moore (Matt), Ashley Cox (Adam), Brent Holt (Meagan) and Justin Butler, and seven great-grandchildren, Gage Moore, Lexi Moore, Camryn Cox, Mila and Lakin Holt, Jaxton Butler and Zona Moore.
Mrs. Bell was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and "great"-grandmother. She was a homemaker for many years and was employed by sears as a Sales Associate until her retirement.
She loved playing with her grandchildren and "great"-grandchildren. She was a big supporter in attending whatever they were involved in.
She enjoyed sitting out on her deck, watching the birds, sewing, baking, reading and coloring. She loved the Tennessee Titans and going to the ballgames. She was also a University of Tennessee football fan.
She was an inspiration to many and will be forever missed.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 26 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 2:00 pm with an hour of visiting prior also at the funeral home. The committal service will immediately follow with active pallbearers; Jere Holt, Skip Butler, Jere Holt, Jr., Brent Holt, Justin Butler, Gage Moore, Matt Moore and Adam Cox.
